PROJECT: AlNahda Fingerprint

The R307 is an optical fingerprint verification module with a TTL interface. It consists of an optical fingerprint sensor, a high-performance DSP processor, and flash memory. Some key features of the R307 fingerprint module include:

- Fingerprint sensor, fingerprint verification, fingerprint upload and download capabilities[1][2][3] - Small size, low power consumption, and simple structure for easy integration[3] - Supports both 1:1 fingerprint matching and 1:N fingerprint search[3][4] - Adjustable security levels from low to high (1 to 5) to suit different applications[3] - False Acceptance Rate (FAR) less than 0.001% and False Rejection Rate (FRR) less than 1.0%[3] - Fast fingerprint image input time of less than 0.3 seconds and search time of less than 1 second[3] - Supports UART and USB 1.1 interfaces for communication with a host microcontroller[3][4] - Can be easily interfaced with microcontrollers like Arduino, Tiva C, STM, and Raspberry Pi[2]

The R307 module works on the principle of Frustrated Total Internal Reflection (FTIR) to capture and process fingerprint images. It can be used to develop powerful fingerprint verification applications across various access control and security systems.[3]
